Domestic shipping (exc. Rural Delivery) should be expected in 1 - 3 business days after shipping, and international orders within 3 - 14 days. Note that these delivery times may vary during high volume delivery periods such as Christmas.
We take all precautions to ensure your Whittaker’s products arrive in good condition at their destination, including adding heat wrap and selecting express tracked shipping (where scanning in destination countries is currently available). However, due to the premium nature of our chocolate, it has a low melting point and we'd advise against sending it to hot climates.
NZ Post is our standard shipping partner and offers information about shipping delays, where applicable, on their website.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Your final shipping charges are based on the weight of your order and the delivery destination.
During usual business (e.g. outside of the Christmas delivery period) once your order has been shipped, you can expect the following delivery times:

International orders
We want to make sure your chocolate gets to you in perfect condition and in good time.
International orders are sent via fully-tracked international air mail.
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification which will include a tracking number. You can use this to check its status on the NZ Post, website (the email with your tracking number in it will contain a link to the correct service) Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 5 business days of the expected delivery time, after you get your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at shop@whittakers.co.nz with your name and order number, or use our contact form, and we will look into it for you.
Please note we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
We unfortunately cannot accept returns, due to the consumable nature of our delicious products.
If you need to cancel an order, please get in touch as soon as possible – we’ll do our best to catch it in time. If the order has already been processed and shipped, we may be unable to cancel its delivery and organise a refund.
